หลังการรอคอยของแฟนๆตลอดหลายเดือน ในที่สุด Blink 182 ก็กลับมาพร้อมเพลงใหม่ Bored To Death ที่ปล่อยออกมาพร้อมการประกาศทัวร์ ซึ่งการกลับมาครั้งนี้กับป็อปร็อคแบบบางๆที่หลายคนเข้าถึงได้ หลังจากประสบความสำเร็จจาก The departure มาแล้ว Bored To Death เพลงใหม่ที่จะทำให้แฟนๆได้เข้าถึงพวกเขามากขึ้น ที่ Mark Hoppus การันตีว่านี่เป็นอีกหนึ่งเพลงที่เปิดประวัติหน้าใหม่ในงานการทำเพลงของพวกเจาเลยก็ว่าได้ การันตีได้จากการที่เพิ่งปล่อยออกมาไม่นานก็สามารถพายอดวิวใน Youtube ทะยานขึ้นไปถึงกว่าห้าล้านวิวแล้ว
